Project Coordinator (Reminisce – The Attic Project)

My name is Catherine and I am the Reminiscence Coordinator for the Attic Project, recruiting and supporting the projects’ volunteers in Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan and Newport.

I fell into volunteering when I volunteered with the South Wales Miners’ Museum, assisting with their social media and marketing. I then applied for the position of Volunteer Coordinator. My position allowed me to gain experience in other areas of the museum such as education, heritage, and event management. Working with the museum allowed me to develop a deep appreciation for heritage.

I studied at Swansea University and obtained my MA in Creative Writing. I am very excited to be part of the Attic Project and to hear the stories that people will tell through reminiscence.
