Joanna Parry
Jo Parry is the Senior Volunteering Development Manager, responsible for leading the development and delivery of the national volunteering programme at Marie Curie. Supporting tens of thousands of volunteers as well as hundreds of volunteer managers, Jo drives the growth of volunteer opportunities and engagement across the charity.
Throughout her career, Jo has experience in a wide range of roles in a variety of health, social care and charity settings. Working for the National Autistic Society, Jo developed and delivered information and support programmes for professionals and families living with an autism spectrum condition.
More recently Jo has set up and managed a range of national volunteer services including the Marie Curie Helper Service in South Wales.
Jo has always been an active volunteer herself, currently with the Alzheimer’s Society, Encephalitis Society and as a Trustee at VCS Cymru.
In her spare time Jo enjoys travelling, hiking as well as time with family and family.
