The Release Project
Supported Volunteering / What We Do / What's onThrough supported volunteering, The Release Project is helping ex-offenders and their families grow in confidence, develop new skills and support their local communities.
Funded by the Lloyds Bank Foundation (England & Wales) we’re developing the skills and confidence of those who have been – or are – involved in the criminal justice system, through supported volunteering and other opportunities.
#VCSVolunteeringWith mentor support, we help prepare participants for volunteering roles, supporting them with applications, interview technique, and everything it takes to get back on track.
The project is developing community-based volunteering opportunities with other Third Sector organisations and partnerships to offer participants practical skills and to enhance employment prospects.
